Exterior – emotionally charged new interpretation.
The front of the new E-Class is more fluent, the swept bonnet seamlessly transitions to the border of the radiator grille and the newly designed headlamps. The twin headlamp face distinctive to the E-Class fuses elegantly with one-piece headlamps and nevertheless stays true to its character. The standard-specification LED headlamps combine aesthetics and safety. And the expressive wing design of the front bumpers provides a discrete, sporty cap to the road.
Viewed from the side the lines rising towards the rear are immediately apparent. They are reinforced by a feature line in the rear door and lend the vehicle a dynamic forward push.. The long wheelbase and the short overhangs provide the typical proportions.
The horizontally structured tail lamps and the black inserts in the compact rear bumper dynamically emphasise the width of the vehicle. The elegant rear section with great loading functionality offers extra space and a dignified aspect The tail lamps feature LED and to some extent fibre optics technology. This makes it possible to realise various light intensities depending on the lighting function.

The new interior colours silk beige, espresso brown, seashell grey, chestnut brown. crystal grey and porcelain offer a multitude of tone-in-tone or contrasting-colour combinations for customisation purposes. Depending on equipment line and selected options the fabric and man-made ARTICO leather upholstery has transverse piping or longitudinal piping for leather and nappa leather upholstery.
